Very good work and you can be proud of your first car model. I come a bit late to the game but I do have a list of things that caught my eyes. So I made a quick paint over to show you what I think should be fixed.
Thanks for the help Jools! I’ll fix most of your suggestions. The hood ornament isn’t the Honda symbol, so it’s going to be round. The grill mesh has shadows because it’s a mesh vent (cloth like):
The thing that looks strange on the side is another vent, and admittedly, I didn’t know how to model it without increasing the geometry horribly. So, I’ll get started on the rest of the fixes!
Materials coming along. Working on tires right now. Wondering if anyone has any vector maps of Potenza racing slick sidewalls? Would be eternally grateful!
Materials are on, but not completely satisfied. I might change the car paint to glossy clear coat since the matte finish looks off to me. Anyways, on to rigging and animation next. Also, have to build scenes.
