Tommy Hilfiger Makes Its Way Into Gaming

The world-famous clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger recently announced it would be launching a new, community-driven gaming initiative known as Team Tommy. This project aims to uplift the global gaming community by providing emerging influencers with new avenues of content creation and partnerships.

Team Tommy will be comprised of eight hand-picked, internationally-recognized gamers. They are Luminum, Sunsup, HoneyPuu, Nana, OwengeJuice TV, Blaustoise, Dish, and Dom2k.

As members of Team Tommy, these individuals will be expected to participate in weekly live streams on YouTube and Twitch. These gamers will also take part in monthly live stream “Get-Togethers” while making in-person appearances at industry events and in-store activations.

“We’ve never done anything like this before,” said Hilfiger in a statement to WWD. “Not only is this an exciting step for us as we enter the metaverse, but we’re connecting with and building relationships with a whole new group of fans and customers. I’m excited to learn from these creative individuals and explore more of their intricate gaming world.”

The Tommy Hilfiger Corporation was founded by Tommy Hilfiger in 1985. In 2010, the company was acquired by PVH Corp, which also owns other famous fashion brands like Calvin Klein and Olga.
