Hottie Ryan Reynolds and blond bombshell Scarlett Johansson got hitched Saturday in an intimate ceremony outside Vancouver at a remote wilderness resort in Reynolds’ native Canada, People Magazine reported.
Reynolds, 31, and Johansson, 23, had been dating since spring 2007 and announced their engagement May 5. That evening the buxom actress flashed a three-carat diamond ring estimated to be worth about $30,000 at the Met Costume Gala.
Wedding guests included Scarlett’s mother, Melanie Sloan, and her brother Adrian Johansson.
Johansson believes timing is very important when choosing a husband. “You don’t always meet the right person at the right time,” she told Cosmopolitan.
“I believe in finding a soul mate. I’ve always been in monogamous relationships. I would never want to be in an open one. It’d be too awful,” she told the maggie in August to clarify 2006 comments where she said that people are not monogamous by nature.
Reynolds was once engaged to Canadian crooner Alanis Morissette.
