Dubai Over 120 teams from 50 organisations will be taking part in the third Rush-A-Way Corporate Challenge in Dubai on September 22.

Presented by LivFit by Oman Insurance, the challenge, which is an inter-company competition aims to promote team building and bonding for those working in corporates, Neha Gaggar, co-founder of the challenge told XPRESS.

Mental, physical fitness

She said, “The teams have to strategise and compete to conquer seven challenges in a thrilling adventure around Dubai. Each team will have three-four members and the challenges will put to test their mental and physical fitness, quick thinking and teamwork. Some of our past challenges included stand-up paddle-boarding, archery, go-karting, calisthenics and parkour, escape games and even sushi making.”

At each challenge, teams will earn points based on how fast they complete the challenge after checking in. The teams that do not finish the challenge in the given time receive a penalty but can continue the race. The teams with the highest score at the finish line win the title and bragging rights.

Gaggar said the teams will have to sign into the Rush-A-Way web app before the event begins to receive the location details. “At the start of every challenge, the team must enter the check-in code. Once the challenge is completed, the location details for the next challenge are unlocked on the app. Teams have to travel in their cars and are free to use their GPS to navigate between locations,” she added.

Medals and trophies

The challenge awards include medals and trophies.

The last Corporate Challenge was held last April 21. Over 90 teams took part. Among the organisations they represented were DMCC, Canon, Emirates NBD, ITP, Air Arabia, Bosch, SAP, Jubali Bros, Leminar, Bayt.com, Xerox, Sanipex, Aetna and BMA.
