Cristiano Ronaldo ‘agrees £500,000-a-week’ contract with Juventus as £88m switch to Serie A club nears
Real Madrid star has fallen out with president Florentino Perez over the lack of a new contract offer and his agent Jorge Mendes has held talks with the Old Lady
CRISTIANO RONALDO has accepted a £500,000-a-week salary at Juventus as his move from Real Madrid develops.
The Portuguese superstar is finally ready to leave the Bernabeu for £88million, after nine years at the club.
And the Italian giants are ready to pay the big bucks to land the player who scored one of the great Champions League goals against them last season.
According to AS, Ronaldo, 33, wants to play on until he turns 41 – and complete another EIGHT seasons of football.
And his dream was to retire at Real Madrid, but that now looks dead in the water as he looks to secure his exit.
He had waited six months for a new contract offer from Bernabeu president Florentino Perez, but was fuming by January when he had seen no offer.

Zinedine Zidane was one of the figures who asked the Madrid hierarchy to offer Ronaldo an improved contract during the course of last season.
But with the France legend now out of the club, the former Manchester United star's list of allies has become smaller.
So super agent Jorge Mendes has discussed terms with the seven-time consecutive Serie A winners and their owners, the Agnelli family.
And the offer of £500,000 a week would keep him among the best-paid players on the planet.
And former Juventus CEO Lucciano Moggi has claimed that he has "already signed" for Juventus, with Ronaldo having completed a medical and agreed terms in Munich.
Moggi tweeted: "I think he has already signed and made a visit to Munich #CR7."
Ronaldo was reportedly fuming at being valued at €100m - or £88m - by Perez after being shown a draft of his new contract last season.
That, and the claims Real dawdled over offering him acceptable terms, appears to have paved the way for Ronaldo to leave the Spanish capital.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are known to be keen on making Neymar their next Galactico, having denied they are interested in Kylian Mbappe.
Manchester United, however, are not set to pursue former star Ronaldo.
He left as a Ballon d'Or winner in 2009 and looked set for a move back to Old Trafford in 2014, but used his former club as a bargaining chip by signing a new deal at Real.
United are now wary of pursuing Ronaldo again, given his age and especially given Los Blancos want £8m MORE than the £80m they sold him for nine years ago.
Jose Mourinho and Ronaldo experienced a tense relationship during their final months together Real as well, as the manager lost the dressing room and left to return to Chelsea in 2013.
