“Lådan” translates literally as “The Box.” Ralph Erskine built it for his family of four in Sweden, in 1941, during WW2, with the help of a close friend.
Between the winter of 1941 and the summer of 1942, Ralph Erskine built a small wooden cabin to use as a permanent residence and professional studio.
