I bought this on the recommendation of a friend as I had been thinking about buying a detector for some time. I did have a cheap and simple one many, many years ago which was more of a toy than anything else.
Anyway, took the Garrett out for a trial run the other evening eith my friend on land he has permission for. Within minutes I was getting plenty of indications. Admittedly, being a farmer's field, many of them were old ferrous objects. Found a few old brass fired rounds and some aluminium 'cow tubes'. We also took along some old coins and things to play with and experiment with the discrimination settings. All in all, I believe I made a great purchase and I am looking forward to going out again soon. If I only find the odd old nail it still gives me great pleasure to get out in the open air and stroll around.
I will be taking the grandchildren to the local beaches in the near future to see if they can find enough loose change to buy themselves an ice cream.

Hyvä aloituspaketti, säädöt auttavat poistamaan naulat sun muut epähalutut metallit, jos esimerkiksi haluaa etsiä arvometalleja. Helppokäyttöinen, ja mukana tulevat selkeät ohjeet. Mukana tuleva Pinpointer on todella hyvä lisä esineen löytämistä varten. Pienetkin kolikot löytyvät vaivattomasti sitä käyttäen. Itse paljastimessakin on pinpoint ominaisuus, jolla löydät helposti oikean kohdan josta kaivaa.
Paljastin ja pointer ovat tukevaa tekoa, vaikkakin paljastin näyttää hieman rimpulalta, on se oikein jämäkkä kädessä, ja sopivan kevyt pitkiinkin paljastelupäiviin.

I got this for my husband for Father's day as a suprise. It was an upgrade from his Bounty Hunter detector. I even blindfolded him and took him to a park he had never explored before and gave it to him. When he saw the Garrett logo he lit up like a kid at Christmas! Best of all he found a Colonial button right away! He was extremely pleased as this model was much more sensitive than his old one. It has settings to filter out metal types you don't want so you can narrow down your search.
" Go Garrett, or Go Home" should be Garrett's official trademark! LOL Nothing compares! Thanks so much!

Das Gert ist leicht zusammensteckbar und sofort einsatzbereit, ideal fr Anfnger. Mit der mitgelieferten Bedienungs-DVD und der Bedienungsanleitung (auch in deutsch) kann man gleich loslegen. Um erfolgreich zu sein mu man allerdings "trocken" ben wie es im Video gezeigt wird. Dann folgt die Praxis, auch hier erstmal mit kleinen bekannten Gegenstnden, an denen man bt. Dann gehts los, auch wenn man nur eine alte Schraube ausgrbt, das macht trotzdem Spa. Die Hoffnung bleibt doch mal was Wertvolleres zu finden. Alles in Allem ein erstaunliches Gert mit guter Selektion und vielen Einstellmglichkeiten. Viel Spa damit... G.G.
