Item i recieved was an obvious 'B' stock but I liked anyway. Cut well small trees and branches, the sawback is kind of a gimmick. The handle feel like an Hammer handle and that's a good thing(Estwing is a famous Hammer manufacturer). As for the size, it is in between a bowie knife and a machete. The finish on the blade feel like the one on an high quality shovel.

I've been a Estwing user for over 35 years. With out a doubt one of the best american made tools out there and this one is no different. The shock resistant handle is awesome.
