Nicely packaged. Used for 1/2 hour in the woods . Learning how to use. So far it’s very simple to use. One and only issue is that there ISNT an owners manual in the box. There is a box to click on which enables you to print off a manual. They need to INCLUDE AN OWNERS MANUAL IN THE BOX. There’s a leaflet for fast start . I requested a printed owners manual when I registered the 3 year warranty . MAKE SURE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THE WARRANTY. I did quite a bit of research on this Garrett Ace 300. Many locations had very good reviews . I found some junk on my half hour excursion back 1/4 miles into Vermonts Forrest’s.

We put the Detector together at five am, that's how excited My Dad is. It's still tractor season so here in a few weeks We will be back with what We find. Thanks so much for the fast shipping, and the packaging was top notch!!

I had a Garrett 20 years ago and that thing loved mercury dimes. I wanted to get back into the hobbie so I looked for a base model Garrett with good discrimination and I found it, the Ace 300. They were all priced about the same online but at Detector Warehouse they offered the extra goodies at the same price and they aren't bad for freebies.
I'm still learning this machine but so far I love it. Every one of them are different and there is a learning curve with them. I love the features on this model and its very light weight.

This was the first metal detector I've ever used and I bought it based upon reviews online saying it was good for beginners. I haven't found any treasure but I have found tons of little pieces of junk metal. I live in Kodiak, AK and there is tons of WWII trash left around. This detector is very sensitive and has been super easy to zero in and dig up any bits of metal in the ground. I would highly recommend this if you're looking to get into metal detecting.
