This is a well made faucet by American Standard. The valve seats are ceramic and should last for many years of operation.
Recommendation: When installing the Pop Up Drain assembly in the sink, do not use the foam washer provided. Instead, use Plumbers Putty - Stain Free . Fashion the putty into a snake and wrap around drain body and insert into the sink bowl. From the underside of the sink WRAP Plumbers Putty around drain tube install rubber gasket and lock nut. Tighten the lock nut until rubber washer becomes compressed but do not over tighten.
The instructions say do not use Plumbers Putty but in fact the putty provides a better sealing material for cases where the sink drain hole may be slightly irregular .
On the first try I used the foam washer and water leaked by the gasket to the underside of the sink. I threw away the foam gasket and went to the tried and true method ..... plumbers putty and it solved the problem.
