According to the timeline of the incident, a delivery agent from the pizza company pinged a female customer, Kanishka Dadhich, on WhatsApp a day after delivering an order to her home address.

In his message, delivery executive Kabir confessed his apparent feelings for the customer which alerted Dadhich. Concerned for her safety, the customer posted the chat screenshot on Twitter and demanded Domino’s take action against the delivery agent who had breached her privacy and obtained her personal number.

Following her post on the platform, her tweet went viral and caught the attention of authorities. Domino’s got in touch with Dadhich and tried to unravel the situation. It was later reported by other users on the platform that the delivery executive had been fired from his job.

Firing The Agent Raised Additional Safety Concerns For The Customer

This yet again raised concern for the female customer’s safety. UP police intervened after the user reported a lack of satisfactory response from Domino’s. Although the original tweet has been taken down by Twitter, in his initial message the delivery guy wrote, “Sorry, my name is Kabir, yesterday I came to give you pizza, I am the same, I liked you.”

A message on her WhatsApp account from the estranged raised concern for Dadhich’s safety and worried about her personal information being mishandled. In her tweet, the user expressed, “I want to ask if this is ethical to send a delivery guy so that he could get anyone’s number and address. Even if he liked me, this is not the way to confess. It means he has misused the number given to the company for delivery purposes.”

The user shared all interactions she had with Domino’s in her subsequent tweets.
