The complete range of electrical connectors for jointing and terminating cables and connecting conductors into low, medium and high voltage switchgear, control panels and transformers using compression (crimping) or mechanical shearbolt (“snap-off”) type connectors.

Connectors are available to lug, crimp and splice cables for LV, MV and HV applications with copper or aluminium conductors ranging from 1.5sqmm up to 1200sqmm.

Compatible with 11kV and 33kV cold shrink, heat shrink, push-on and slip-on type cable joints and cable terminations – crimp, shearbolt and brass tunnel type connectors suit for resin cable joints.

Cembre Lugs | S Range

Cembre Lugs | S range cable terminals are manufactured from electrolytic copper strip and tin plated. The seam is brazed to provide uniform mechanical strength. The terminal barrel is rifled to enhance electrical contact to improve mechanical strength. The connectors are manufactured by Cembre from electrolitic Copper Cu-ETP CWOO4A according to UNI EN 13599 and are tin plated with a minimum thickness of 3µm.


Cembre Lugs | Ring Tongue Terminals with Contained Palms

Cembre Lugs | this range of cable lugs features contained palm width specifically designed for application with Low Voltage circuit breakers with reduced space terminal blocks. In fact the contained palm width of the Cembre lug allows an immediate and easier installation – cable lugs are manufactured from electrolytic copper tube with a designed section of the barrel and the choice of principal dimensions for optimising the best combination of mechanical strength and electrical conductivity. Cembre lugs are manufactured from electrolytic copper tube Cu-OF CW008A conform to UNI EN 13600.

Cembre Lugs | the A-L series lugs angled 90° are manufactured from electrolytic copper tube. The dimensions of the tube are designed to obtain the most efficient electrical conductivity and mechanical strength to resist vibration and pull out. Cembre cable lugs are annealed to guarantee optimum ductility which is an absolute necessity for connectors which will have to withstand the severe deformation arising when compressed and any bending of the palm during installation.

Cembre Lugs | A-2M series lugs are manufactured by Cembre from electrolytic copper tube. The dimensions of the cable lug tube are designed to obtain the most efficient electrical conductivity and mechanical strength to resist vibration and pull out. Pfisterer Sicon Mechanical Cable Lugs & Connectors MV HV

Pfisterer Sicon screw type bolted connectors are installed directly onto cable conductor ends (lugs) or to connect sections of jointed cable at medium/high voltages – typically used to connect cables at 11kV-33kV with voltage rating suitable also for HV up to 66kV/72kV. Network Rail PADS approved connectors.

Pfisterer Sicon offer a range of mechanical shearbolt cable connectors with stepless shear-off bolts providing the right connector for any applications. For years now, bolted clamps, connectors and cable lugs have been gaining ground as bolted connectors offer technical and practical advantages that compression technology cannot match.

Sicon bolted connectors are installed directly onto the ends of the conductor with a standard allen key aiding simple and smooth installation. The innovative design of the stepless shear bolt allows installation regardless of the conductor type. Thanks to the special design of the bolt, optimal contact force is always achieved.

All Sicon cable lugs and connectors can be easily installed, even under tight spots. The bolt shears off smoothly when it is tightened. The remains stay in the tool and can be safely disposed of. The bolt always shears off at the top edge of the connector body. This way, there are no sharp protrusions. All edges of the connector body are rounded.

Every Sicon connector covers a wide cross-section range. This way, you always have the right connectors with on site. And even if during repair work it is unclear type of conductors must be connected and in which condition are they in, Sicon is the right choice. Sicon connectors are electrically/mechanically type-tested in accordance with IEC 61238-1 class.
